Its called using your judgement. YOU should know something about that.

That is why I posted it.I do know something about it.Im not sure what you mean.The officer was justified in pulling his gun,without knowing the circumstances.All he knew at that point is the traffic violations,he pulls them and then a few people get out.After is was obvious,things should have changed.
To the people that say it doesnt take much experience,education etc to be leo,try it for yourself.The recruiters widdle through the applicants that dont fit the criteria.The actual school itself[to become leo certified] consists of alot of book work,tests,physical tests,use of the weapons and the list goes on.For the first couple of years the officer has to use his/her training to deal with the every day job.The experience/common sense factor comes in and most situations are dealt with based on the combination.This officer went out of the realm and did what he chose to do,the "Im a cop factor".
