Looking for a transmission for a 98 contour svt also would a transmission from a cougar or regular contour would work

I have a good tranny out of my svt Contour I would sell for 350 bucks. I am in cali. A tranny out of a cougar works too. My tranny works perfectly and has 120k on it.

Correct, any V6 tranny should work. The difference was in the flywheel/clutch setup IIRC.
