I have replaced the rear seal on the tr3650 3 times in the past 2 months. I changed it twice and then had a shop do it the third time. Same results, drives fine for a couple days and then it will spew trans fluid all over. The shop warrantied their work for 3 years, so I will be able to get it replaced under warranty, but I have no clue why the seal keeps going bad within a short time frame? Anyone else having similar issues?

Where the yoke goes in or at the bottom of the seal. Look for pry marks in the tailshaft might need some rtv on the outer edge of the seal. Also what seal are you using as a replacement.

I found the problem. Its the extension housing bushing that is worn causing the driveshaft to be loose and essentially ruining the tailshaft seal.
