Like what was already said on here, I think life is too short and there are a lot of cars I'd like to try eventually (too many really, haha). I tend start getting bored of any given car after awhile (the 04 Cobra has been the car that I've kept the longest though - about 3 years). Beyond that though, I want a car that I really like to daily drive year round, is fun on the street, and still has good handling and power, and is good for track days. My Z06 has great performance numbers, and can shine on a race track, but out on the real world streets with rough surfaces etc, it just doesn't have the suspension tuned with enough compliance and travel to be ideal for me. And with the way street conditions and parking lot entrances are set up here in Colorado, the low ground clearance on my Z06 means than I have to tiptoe around a lot or has me feeling a little paranoid sometimes. The clearance and the wheel/brake sizes also mean I can't really put winter tires on it and drive in the snow. All these things have added up into me hardly driving the Z06, and it's become a garage queen. I want to daily drive a car that also has good performance. Yeah, I will get a 2nd set of wheels and winter tires and drive the Boss on most of the snow days here in Denver. My current winter car is a Miata with snow tires, it's the most fun winter beater I've ever had, and works well in the snow. There were some other things I don't like about the Z06, like the steering feel and the seats. I get my acceleration fix on my ZX10R, so I think I'll be fine losing some of the power to weight ratio of Z06 vs Boss.

As far as the GT500 goes - I do like those, especially what I've heard about the 2013, but prefer the lower weight, less nose biased balance of the Boss - and I think the naturally aspirated, high revving yet still pretty torquey power curve of the Boss will be awesome! Pretty much builds power all the way to almost 7700 rpm! Plus I've always thought the Mustangs have the best sounding American V8s... I think everything about the Boss will add up to a very well rounded, balanced, fun to drive machine. It'll probably be just what I'm looking for - if not, I'll just move onto the next car sooner.

[QUOTE="Sniper342, post: 11434730, member: 23162"] Dealer isn't sure on my arrival date, their best bet right now is somewhere between April and June. I did come across a few dealerships that are wanting to charge markup, but after calling a few places I found one that wouldn't try to get more than msrp for it. I appreciate the Boss tune/mods info, I'll have to look into that. First thing I'll do will be removing the side pipe baffle plates, probably will get a track key mainly for launch control, might eventually end up doing other mods. I love the Z06, but I have a number of reasons for the trade. Like what was already said on here, I think life is too short and there are a lot of cars I'd like to try eventually (too many really, haha).
