Track Update

Doesn't even seem possible it has been almost 3 years since I got the car down the track. Got to an 1/8th mile track a couple of weeks ago. I got 3 runs in. Off the trailer it went 5.789 @ 121.93 and spun pretty bad with a 1.38 60-ft. Best one was the 2nd pass with a 5.654 @ 121.77 and a 1.273 60-ft. 3rd pass was a 5.667 @ 121.12 and a 1.272 60-ft. Race weight is 2800 lbs. Previous best was a 5.95 at 115.9

Funnest thing for me was explaining no nitrous and only a normally aspirated 363.

It was good to get back to the track. Need to get to a 1/4-mile track before it snows. Should have a 8.85 at 152 in her.

Some purists might give you a hard time since it's a "cobra", but I love it. Most wouldnt like my 03 cobra either, but I drag race too.
Love high revving NA push rod motors too. Awesome.

Considering in September of 1993 I drove off the Anderson Ford lot with 3.73 gears, Dynomax cat back, subframe connectors welded in, a hurst shifter, and larger MAF, that really hasn't been an issue for me LOL. But I get it.
