Just curious as I'm about to get a corvette or 2013 car.. I want a Manual.. But I had nightmares with my 2011.. And don't wanna spend 4500 on a t56 right off the bat... Why hasn't anyone done the readily avaliable and cheaper 6060 from a Shelby ?? Just curious

Good question as they use this tranny on the boss 302r or 302s

I have a 6060 in my 2010 GT lots of other guys have done that swap. Not a big deal swap just need to find a good transmission or have one rebuilt. The gear ratios don't suit the coyote motor like it does my SC motor.

I'm ineterested. Since some of the cost can be recouped by selling the new mt-82, should be fairly cheap. And you would probably get a alum ds out of the deal.

I had a 2012 auto too . Boring . Plus I'm gonna road corse it. U ever had a tq converter flash mid turn?? It isn't pretty lol .. Only time I enjoyed my auto was in traffic lol ... The ratios can be wkd out by changing rear gears . The new Shelby has 7000redline and crazy low gears .. But I researched it and I'd be almost half as much as a t56.. I was curious anybody did it to 2011 and up

Rowing your own gears is a lost art unfortunately. Personally, I would never have it any other way.

I have a tr6060 in my garage that I was about to put in my car. An auto became avalible just as I was about to start this project so I decided to go this route instead. I was going to need to send off my clutch to have the hub replaced, get a driveshaft and put 4.10's in the rear then figure out the how to make the speedometer work. I figured I can sell the MT-82 with my RXT clutch and sell my tr6060 and I could actually come out making money on this swap.

The MT82 has a 3 wire sensor and the tr6060 has a 2 wire from what I've found.
