TR3650 Swap in 98 Cobra

Dallas Mustang doesn't make the SpeedCal anymore. Anyone know where I could find one or another way for the swap to work? Thanks.

You may need to ooley it in a tune...but not sure you can with yours being vss.
Ford racing may still make a speedcal..dunno.
Keep us posted please.

I would also post a wtb ad in the market forum especially in the 99+ forum.
Some folks may have one kicking around after fixing it (gear change) with a tune instead.

Hey...Maybe even try an ad in craigslist.

I have a WTB ad up. The Ford Racing unit can only adjust for gear ratio, not the VSS/OSS issue. Thanks.

Is this a DM mistake?

Only 99+ Mustangs have PCMs that can be reprogrammed for different transmissions, tires and axle ratios.

It looks like FRPP has discontinued their M-4209ADPT-AC recalibrator too.

Your next best bet is the Dakota Digital SGI-5: Universal Speedometer Signal Interface

The SGI-5 is very different from the Speedcal. Dakota Digital doesn't include the Ford connector so every wire needs to be spliced. The modes are somewhat hard to figure out. The calibration process is interactive rather than switch settings, so it's easier to set. Dakota Digital usually has pretty good technical support.
