Sham wow! They have to do this for every recalled truck!?!
Go to 2:24 Crazy!

The 3.4T is the one destructing at will to the point where dealers won't take them as trade?
Sham wow!
Yep. One mechanic noted the replacement short blocks have a new part number. A lot of suspicion foreign debris over 3 years of production is not the real reason the motors have been failing.
What on earth is that?
I don't even recognize it as an engine, or a transmission.
That's just a bunch of random parts you piled up on the floor isn't it!
I agree, I think I saw a turbo.What on earth is that?

When Lexus came out with the 23 RX model they ditched the reliable 3.5V6 and went to 2.4 turbo 4 cylinder, most people aren't familiar with this engine yet. They also use the engine in the 2022+ NX350.What on earth is that?

Along with running Revan Racing, I'm also a Lexus Master Technician, and about 3,500 LX600s are affected by this, I've been hearing when this recall actually hits we will be doing complete long blocks, which will make the job somewhat easier, but it'll still be a nightmare.
Just last week I had to put a new Hybrid transmission in a 2023 RX500H, it sucks to say this, but Toyota/Lexus is building some real pieces of shit.
This is the nightmare I did

My GT500 engine was easier to pull lolLooks like the T1000 from Terminator 2 got all drunked up and ****ed a bunch of hoses.
In terms of best balancing the Performance : Reliability ratio, automotive technology peaked in 2015.

EhhhVVT, VCT, DoD, DI, Turbos, Start stop add complexity and if you combine all of them in one engine, you're asking for problems.
Really simple way of putting it IMHOEhhh
