Great thing about a LeSabre or an 88 is that you can be smoking a blunt, drinking Jack and beating a hooker while passing a cop and he will never give you a second look.

This reminds me of one time I was at sporting goods store buying shit for my muzzle loader. Out of the blue some random dude walked up to me to tell me that the awesome thing about muzzle loaders is that it is OK if you have a couple of felonies.

Kings of the beater cars:

1996- 2002 Toyota Corolla
1996-2001 Honda Civic

100% agree on Honda V6 automatics. Univerally known to be shit. The Civic autos didnt get questionable until the 2001 model year.

**** I originally stated 96-2001 in my original post. Should be 1996-2000. My original post has been fixed.

2002-2006 Hyundai Elantra. They are STUPID cheap, extremely reliable and you can get the GT model in leather(even in the 2002+ models). 30+mpg is the norm even beating the crap out of it. I drove one as a beater for 4 years and put more than 350k miles on it without a single issue.

Any TDi (Jetta, Passat, Golf, etc...). 40+ mpg, seats 4, 200K-300K easily! They are torque happy so they move out. Makes Liberals cry!

Thanks for the links, just looking though it doesn't get as good of gas mileage as I want.

I get ya.

I’m 6’1” and getting fatter than I should be.

I’d take the less mpg to be able to sit on a couch and spread my legs to give ample ball room. Lol. That’s me though.

Drive the wheels out of that damn truck. Enjoy the thing, man. Don’t save the good times (miles) for another guy.
