Tonneau Cover

New Lightning owner and I have a question. I looked through the forum and could not find anything related to my issue. My Lightning has a factory tonneau cover that appears to be able to slide forward, like an accordian, but I cannot release the cover. I found two clips at the top or end of the cover that look to be spring loaded. I have tried pulling them down in order to affect a release of the cover, but nothing happens. Am I doing this right? Any help with this is much appreciated. Thanks

Hmm, are you sure its a factory cover...the accordion description has me confused. The factory ones are roll ups. There are tabs on each corner of the leather cover that are used to lift/peel it up...Or are you referring to the frame itself. That does have 2 spring loaded clips that you pull down and will allow you to remove the tail gate bar.
