. This hits the nail on the head,..................& there are other things you could do to make " YOUR " car unique. There are things you can buy, ...............& things you can't, some don't cost much to do yourself !! .
Yeah, hideous for sure. I actually felt badly after posting that... I was just messing around- the badges don't come anywhere close to these sharks teeth, but I definitely vote for a "less is more" approach.
Nice touch! I ended up putting a red dot in the eye of my 03 cobra which I thought was cool. (Black car)
I know my post was in poor taste, sorry I meant it in a light-hearted way, and now feel badly... Those sharks teeth are hideous, so it was a bit "below the belt" so to speak!
As with anything its a personal preference. I do a lot of car shows with my Shelby and I get lots of positive comments on the horsepower aspect of the wings. Just my 2 cents.
I have always been one to keep a special car close to stock, especially this car. Nothing wrong with making mods to individualize your Shelby, unless, in my opinion, you've gone too far. White lettering on the tires is too ricey for me. Adding hashes on the front fenders is absolutely unnecessary. But, hey, what does a graphic designer for a career know, anyway? Less is more.
I say put the wings on if you like them, if it does not work out in the end, a little bit of WD40 or Goo-Gone will release the double stick and they come right off, then sell them to another owner at a reduced price (needs new double stick). The Super Snake style wings have become so popular with the GT500's, the Cobra snakes almost look naked without them in today's world.....<<<Not that it is good or bad, just reality..... R
Oh NO!!! Such politeness on the web.... Forgot to comment in addition to stating it was the 662 hp motor also 5.8 instead of 5.4. Two ways to differentiate the 13-14 from earlier models for those less educated when looking at the car. Tom
