I own a 2003 mach1 and want to put different tires and wheels on it. How large of a tire will fit the front and rear of the car without obstructions?

part of that will depend on how low the car is, the rear may require rolling the fenders depending on the wheel and tire size/brand (some, like toyos, run wider than others). With steeda sport springs and R888Rs on a 10.5 wide wheel it would definitely cut up the tire.

The largest you can go up front without fender work is an 18x9.5. the rear some guys stuff 11s.

What's also important is GOOD tire selection. By good I mean quality brands like Michelin, Continental and the like.

Size options narrow fast when you start getting above a 275 if you're trying to keep your aspect ratios the same.
