Moved from Texas to Washington (Military) had Nitto 555's all year for Texas... That won't work in North Washington State where it's cold and rainy... Any experience and recommendations for driving and tires? 2002 Mustang GT

My son's 03 GT gets Fuzion UHP all seasons mounted on a set of stock 17" wheels for the winter in PA. Cheap tires that get good traction in rain and light snow/ice. He has 18" Nitto 555s for the nice weather.

Welcome to Washington where it rains for about 8 months out of the year. When I had my 99 vortech gt as a daily driver here in Washington I used these

https://www.americanmuscle.com/sumitomo-season-htr-a-s-p01-tire-225-55r16.html

They seemed to do the trick but be careful when driving on the highway cause I had many of times where I almost lost control of the car due to puddles on the highway. Thank fully now I can leave my car in the garage for the rainy season. Good Luck!

In short, go for the best wet traction rating you feel like paying for and that are available in your size. Welcome to WA. Thanks for your service!
