So I am having a set of wheels cut and am debating on what size tire to run. I am pretty set on the R888. Wheel will be 18x11.

Here is where I am hung up

275/40/17 tire height 25.7" - Stock
305/35/18 tire height 26.4" - .7" taller or +2.7%
315/30/18 tire height 25.4" - .3" shorter or -1.2%
335/30/18 tire height 25.9" - .2" taller or +.8%

So, sticking with the 3% rule, any of them will work. However, with the 305 I worry they may look too tall or won't give me width appearance I am going for. I worry the 315 will visibly look too short. And the 335 I worry it may rub causing other issues.

What is your alls opinions/thoughts? Pictures would be great.

Appreciate the help

The toyo r888 run wider than most other tires. I would stick with 305/35 for more sidewall. I have them in my sig picture.

So that's about a 2mph difference at 80. Not bad. Do you have any rear shots? Curious what they look like on 11's.

I have the 305 R888's as well, they look perfect to me. 315's look a little short and the 335 look a little to big from behind (I know, how is that possible), not including all the fitment issues you may encounter. I have the low profile IRS bolts, H&R race springs, no rolled fenders needed for my 18 x 11 CCW classics. Others have said they needed to roll the fenders with the same set-up and wheels but I did not.

I might be one of the few that don't care for the biggest tire possible in the rear. The 305 in the r888 is a great compromise.
