I can't seem to find a sweet spot with my nitto d/r's. What tire pressure do you run to race them with for maximum traction? My burnouts are not an issue, it just seems like no matter where I set the tire pressure with these nittos they always spin off the line. I'm going back to MT streets as soon as these tires are done.

A couple of years ago when I was racing on Nittos I think I would run them around ~17lbs.....I would just ditch the nittos, I have gotten a best of a 1.71 60 at the track but I could never really get a good launch with them, either bog or spun/hopped.

I'm running them right now on 12 1/2 - 13 psi with great success. 4 second burn out and a 4800 to 5200 dump, and they hook nicely. I'm not pushing as much HP as you terminator boy's, but that set up worked great for me w/ adj upper lower c-arms an Eibach D-springs & air bag.

But I've defenitley heard nothing but good things about those E/T streets..

I never had good luck w/ Nitto's. I think I had them set at around 15PSI. I just went to a more sticky tire then trying to figure out the Nitto's. They are not consistent in 60' times. Great street tire for hooking, not so much for the track.

Spun Nittos!

I have also used Nitto DRs (305x45x18) and could not keep them from spinning off the line - very frustrating. I then went to MT Streets 28/11.5/16 and found them much better. I now launch at 1.57 60' times.

Anyone get their hand on the new NT05R's yet? I have a chance to get a set pretty cheap and was wondering if anyone had any info on them? What PSI to run etc.
