What’s up everyone. Having fitment issues.
I got some nitto N555 295/18/40.
Fitting great looking great in rear but rubbing pretty hard on top of fender as well as inner fender on the fronts.
I am on billstein shocks and eibach comp springs. I’m hoping going back down to a 275/35 up front will solve my problems any opinions?

This is the size I have seen this sort of thing happening. 295 is almost always on the edge...for the rear.
275 is usually the max for the front..and the max for 9" wheels.
Roll those fenders...

Sweet thanks y’all. The car had 245/30/18 all the way around Michelin PSS.
I wanted to see if 295/40/18 Nitto 555 would fit all 4.
They don’t so I went ahead and ordered some 275/35/18s for the fronts and I am hoping they work... Looks like I’m rolling some fender

After some research I’m going to return the 275/35/18 set and opt for a 255/35/18 just to get away from clearance issues hopefully fenders don’t scrape but I will be rolling them also.
I will be running Nitto 555 G2s 255/35/18 up front and 295/40/18 out back. Any feedback is well taken thanks y’all!

Wait, so if you have a 10.5" up front, a 255 won't fit.
If you have a 9" wheel up front, a 255/35 will fit but it is way too short, especially when paired with a 295 40 out back.
That's over a 2" different in diameter.

It’s on 9 inch rims all the way around from what I was told.
What will fit and not be too short with 295 40 18 in the rear? Will the 275/35/18 fit up front ? What will happen with the 255/35/18 in the front ?

You may up it a bit for the terminator because of the weight in the front...and I know the terminator was 275 all the way around on 9" rims...but the front steering radius was limited as well.

But less tire in front is going to give you more understeer..especially with the terminator.

Ok well I have both a 255 and 275 on the way... rookie mistakes... should I just return both and get the 265s or run one of these sets

275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 out back. You will have tiny rake but not even noticable. I've ran this setup for years, looks great!!

I'm on 9" fronts and 10" out back.

Sweet do you rub at all up front? I’m wanting to put the 275s up front for the look but don’t wanna run. I am lowered on eibach and have end links, sway bars control arms.

I've run these sizes for about 14 yrs. From Stock suspension, to H&R race springs with X2 ball joints... no spacers w/ D specs, to k member with coilovers. 2 different wheel setups. Only would rub up front during autocross when really pushing the car hard in the corners. On the street, cruising or drag racing.... no they never rubbed. Fenders are not rolled either up front.
