I own a 2013 Fastlane GT with 20x10 Truforged chicane rims. Bought the car with Invo 295 35zr20 new from the dealer. Ran 315 30zr20 for 2 years no issues. Time for new tires. Decided to run proxies r888 285 35zr20's which I thought were the right size for the rim. Got a great deal from a local mavis tire shop. They just called me and told me they can't get them on the car. What the hell is that? Anybody have some feedback. And have any feedback for right tire for rims on 600 + hp car, 9lbs boost

Did they expand on the reasoning as to why they wouldn't go on? Are they having trouble seating the beads?

For reference, tire size 285/35R-20 can be run on 9-inch to 11.5-inch wide wheels.

No, they only said they couldn't get them on with their machine. Also the TPM' S were strapped on different than the stock mustang. That I need a custom shop who handles high performance cars. Said they wasted 3 hours

The best answer yet and the right one. He mentioned these tires go on from the front but was uneasy about it
