Tips on videoing with Hero 3 Black?

Wondering what some of the settings I should do for some good vidoes of the car. I already have a external mic.

which external mic did you go with? I will be ordering one soon. I'm also thinking about ordering some extension cable to mount my mic and camera away from each other.

I love the 240fps function, but since the field of view is so wide, you really need to get the camera close to whatever you are shooting when in that mode. I wish the 240fps was available in higher resolution then 480. In a few instances I used the 120fps instead because at least that is in 720.

I set mine up for 1080p 60fps, spot(whatever its called) off if outside the car, on if inside the car. I prefer the narrow fov, but if doing a race, I will probably use wide fov.

Hollar at me when you get ready to use it and I'll run you through my setup. Also, let me know when you are ready to video edit.. I'll walk you through Movie Maker.
