Anyone have an issue with coming off idle and getting up on the cams almost immediately?
I have 5 speed, KB blower, and dynoed over 500 with cams that have a very slight lope. Unfortunately when trying to leave from a standstill as soon as you touch the throttle, no matter how gently and begin to engage the clutch it will immediately run up to 1800+ rpm to get on the cams and spin the tires.
I was thinking of having the tuner pull some timing from the ecm under 2000 rpm to see if that will help.

Any suggestions?

dashpot not timing

two biggies to affect that is doing to be dasptk and pre position offset

I would recommend setting dasptk to 0.01 and pre position to 0

this is assuming your idle air is set correctly

Could it be an issue with the BPV? Malcolmv8 had an issue with the BPV and cams. Gave him issues pulling away from a stop.
