timing set question

I would like to find out what the difference is on the timing sets for the different blocks. Take for instance the Ford Performance timing kit recommended for the teksid block. Ford says that kit is only for the teksid block and won't work on the 03 /04 cobra block. Why is that? What difference is there other than the press in versus screw in guide pivots?

I believe thats the only difference.

I used the 4V Ford timing kit on my engine, they give you a few extra parts depending on which engine you are doing, but it worked just fine on my iron block.
