I finally did this, being 6' 1" is not fun with this mod. Even after disconnecting the TB cable. It takes some getting used to, but throttle response seems better.

Sorry for the noobish question, but where is the throttle cable located underneath the hood?

On the throttle body. There are two wires going to a bracket on the passenger side of the throttle body. The wire that goes around the braket and pops in...thats the throttle cable. The other cable as a gray plastic piece on the end, and that snaps onto the bracket...thats your cruise control cable.

Here is a pic, you can see two wires where the throttle body is. The on the right is the throttle cable. The one on of the left is the cruise control cable.

if you're short on parts and too lazy to drop by the parts store, u can also use the shell of a ball point pen cut in the same manner as the rubber tube and then clamp down with plastic tie straps. essentially, its has the same effect.
