I hope the best for that homeowner. Not only are they probably going to face a civil suit, but they have to deal with the emotional consequences of taking 3 lives... justified or not. This is my biggest worry about home protection and concealed carry. How would I deal with the traumatic event, post the smoking barrell. Yes, you know you protected yourself and your family, but you still ended 3 lives. A lot of us owners and carry guys are not military. We haven't been prepared for taking a life. Only protecting ours. Sent from my SM-G975U using the svtperformance.com mobile app
If I’m not mistaken, as long as the police rule it as a stand your ground issue then the family cannot file a civil suit against one who uses justifiable deadly force here in Georgia. I believe that Florida is the same in that area, however other states may very well have their STG statutes worded differently.
I understand... I suppose my comment was more general in this specific context. That said, does anybody here have carry insurance? Any recommendations? Sent from my SM-G975U using the svtperformance.com mobile app
I have Armed Citizen Legal Defense Network. For what it costs it is worth it if I ever have to shoot.
The cuck media has quickly positioning this as a "stand your ground" case, which it is, except "stand your ground" is a dog whistle for liberal ****s who cluck at self defense cases.
Its not stand your ground. Its "You broke into my house at 4AM and tried to bring violence to my family". Well, the homeowner replied in kind and rid the world of 3 useless sacks of shit. Bravo.
Is it bad that I actually laughed out loud when I read this? My coworkers looked over at me. This.. The homeowner is well versed in gun control (hitting what you aim at) 3 Kills in one engagement is a pretty good outcome. Homeowner KDR: 3.0
Yes, but because some states levy a Duty to Retreat, even in those situations, other states with Castle Doctrine are called Stand Your Ground. And when they go full-on peg-in-the-ass cuck, they call it "Make my Day" laws.
You know damn well they were starting off the season two and a half months early by knocking on doors and singing Bing Crosby Xmas tunes. Feel good story? No doubt in my mind. Hilarious. I'm hoping you are here all week with the standup routine as it is a good one. I won't imply anything. I'll tell you how one community/culture seems quite violent and crime prone. A fifteen year old robbing? What sickens me is how such asinine and criminal behavior is almost justified because of poverty, the lack of a father figure, etc.., Does one honestly need a father and/or a certain wealth level to know right from wrong?
Nope. My dad grew up with literally nothing but a poor mother who could barely scrape enough for a roof over their head. He has never broken any law except excessive speeding. When I see my dad's upbringing I laugh in the face of the excuse the liberals use. (My dad's was definitely worse than anyone in north america can say)
