Wow. That's a tough one to answer.....

I would say save a little bit more and get one with lower miles.

If that is you top budget number and you want a MC Vert than you would have to look at it in person. A couple of concerns just looking at the photos. Top looks like it may be a little rough. The kind that "puffs" out on the highway. That's expensive if it needs to be replaced. The drivers seat is pretty rough and those aren't the easiest to come by. You would have to check the paint out in person to see how it was cared for and document any blemishes. It is interesting that the s/c belt cover has been broken and just welded up with no dressing or paint. Also the spare belt in the trunk. I would be interested if it is stock size or other. Could be pulled now under the cover with no snub idler or have been pulled in the past. You could tell if it had a snub installed at one point and check the s/c snout and pulley front & back sides for signs of pulley pulled or pushed/pressed back on.

I would check the intake bolts, etc to see if it was modded in the past or apart. Appears stock now but maybe not. If you know someone in the biz have them run a car fax and check ownership history, accidents, etc. also you would want to hear it run to listen for noises. Can't imagine it is the stock clutch either.

Aftermarket headlights. Could indicate the originals were just yellowed and degraded but then that would point to it being outside and not garaged, at least maybe one of its prior owners. If they were replaced to get the projectors then maybe a younger owner at one point?

I would say hold out for lower mileage but if that is your budget, doesn't make noise, smoke, etc....
I think it shows its age/mileage by how saggy the top is in between the roof x-bars, driver seat, driver door panel.

Be patient too.

Good luck

SV

Mystichrome with that many miles will surely need cosmetic and paint work. I'd stay away only because the wear items like seat covers, steering wheel, paint are expensive and hard to find. It's not like it's an easy color to match.

SV's comments/advice is spot on! I'll add that I see a good sized scratch on the front bumper (left side). You can see it in two photos, so it isn't camera reflection/glare. There are likely other paint flaws not showing on the photos. Also, the previous owner added an aftermarket audio system in the center stack.

It's a cheap price, but I'm pretty sure it has all the bad things to go with it. If you don't mind a project, and want a daily driver I would buy this one. When I look for my mine though I want a low milage one that's been well taken care of since it wouldnt be my daily driver.

Definitely looks clean for the miles. Weird that the pulley cover seems to be welded to the snout of the blower lol

^^^^ I think the pulley cover was just re-welded to the bracket that bolts to the Eaton (hard to see in the pic)

Not bad....you'd have to look the car over well OP!

That looks damn nice for 120k miles! I mean you need to see it in person....and definitely drive it.....but if the title is clean and carfax looks decent, that's a heck of a buy especially if you get it under their asking price.

But as I always say in these threads....don't trust the motor. Even if it runs "ok". Doesn't matter if it's a 12k mile terminator or 120k mile, demand a compression test. Cheap insurance.

Thanks for all the input guys! So I found out it has had one owner and carfax verified. And that a compression test could be done. I would assume that'd be done at my expense. I'm still on the fence about it. Price, location and color are appealing to me. However things pointed out make me think twice about it. If anything it'd be a driver quality car. Nowhere near close being show quality. It'd be nice to have to go with my 93 teal cobra.
