I have a 03 with a crack in the paint so trying to decide if I want to change the color to sonic blue or keep it torch red. I’m not worried about the cars value the title is rebuilt and the body has 165k miles and it’s nowhere near stock.

With your facts, let her buck the color you want. Little more work with color change.
Yeah more work but could be different. Wish ford made them in red fire and sonic blue awesome colors.
Sounds like you'd really love Sonic Blue, so, yeah, go for it. It will be unique, for sure.
I say do it too, but make sure you do everything.
