I am tossing around the idea of 20" wheels. I really like the Foose Nitrous wheels, however they are $300-500 a piece, anyone know of a place to get them significantly cheaper or perhaps know of some really good knockoffs? What is the correct backspacing for 20x9" and 20x10" wheels? I am guessing those are the sizes they come in.

Also my car has the MM Starter Box which comes with H&R springs. I know its going to be bad but how horrible is the ride going to be with 20s?

I didn't notice much of a difference in ride quality

20X8.5's 34mm offset
20x10's 40mm offset

wheels sit pretty flush, i can post pics later.

Yes, thank you. You are the jerk making me think of it, do something to ruin that car because it makes me want to spend money.

Don't really ruin your car, I love it so much.

20's are the only way to go with 2005+ mustangs. They look the best with a full adjustable coil-over setup & 255-35-20's front, 295-30-20's rear

What about when it comes to handling? I don't want my car to be incapable of taking turns.

Mine handles great! But I do have Tokico D-Spec's on all for corners. I would say these shocks and struts are a must with sportline springs.

I have H&R Race Springs and Bilstein Shocks and Struts. Its a rough ride but car handles great. I do want sway bars though.

Just so you know, the Foose wheels won't clear big calipers, so if that's something you would ever think of doing, than it's something to consider.

I will have a complete set of 20" foose Nitrous wheels with tires coming back shortly as I sent the wheels to have the polished lips finished in the same grey as the spokes....they have falken fk452 tires 255/35/20 fronts 275/35/20 rears, i had a bit of a bad alignment and the right front tire will need replacing, the inside is almost worn to the threads but im factoring that into the price.....otherwise the other front tire is at about 85% and the rears are at 85%.... really you'd just need to replace 1.....anyway Id like $1700 for the complete set with all 4 tires(3 good 1 bad) shipped if interested....

UGH!:dw:

I hate super large wheels as a fashion statement.

You might as well take up figure skating.:xpl:

Just enough to clear big brakes and as light as possible, all the rest are just FLUFF.

Just say no!:nonono:
