I bought a 2020 Ford F-150 XL regular cab, short bed through Beechmont Ford last year and I can confirm that when the 3.0 Whipple is mated to the 5.0 liter Coyote motor, it makes gobs of horsepower. I owned a modified 2001 Lightning for 15 years and this new truck is way faster. My truck is set up exactly like the Shelby F-150 Super Snake, which makes 770 horsepower, but didn't have anywhere near the $100,000 price tag.

It doesn't take much to be faster than a typical Gen 2 L these days.

I had mine running deep into the 12's, which is nothing to scoff at....even today. The "Silent Assassin" is easily running mid/low-11s. Might even be in the 10s. One of these days I might take it to the track and get a time slip, but they're going to kick me off after the first pass for not having all the required safety gear.

That is really impressive, although not surprising. So relatively easy to make big power nowadays. Ford tough!
