From the Q1 sales from Ford...

Interesting. Is there a tally of how many have been “ordered” where Ford has deposits? It’s one thing to show how many have been built, it’s another where the orders aren’t being satisfied in a timely manner….

And out of those (5), does that include the test vehicles, magazine show or display vehicles, or crash test vehicles?

Are they (Ford) required to make crash test cars for every variant of the Mustang?

Not sure if it’s just an initial body shell crash test and “who cares” about the drivetrain in the platforms, but the GTD is kind of beyond the basic Mustang in many ways.

I’m just saying if only (5) have been built to date, how long will it take them to fulfill the actual orders placed (and how many orders are there so far)?

Like we don’t want to see the fiasco of the Bronco rollout when they took $$$ and then couldn’t get the thing produced quick enough to where people were canceling or backing out of the order placed.

I get it that the GTD isn’t the “norm”, it’s custom, the parts aren’t normal off the shelf items, and many aspects of it are “hand built” or reliant upon different Vendors/Contracts. My example of the fulfillment of the Bronco is Apples to Oranges yes, but somewhat similar as far as fulfilling customer orders in general.

The GTD is built by Multimatic in Canada. So the price will be + 25% for the tariff? That puts a $450.000 car well over 500k plus dealer mark ups and taxes. Maybe I’ll order one for the wife too..

If you can afford 450, you can undoubtedly pay 500.
Being able to afford the price is one thing but just giving the Government 25% ($112.500.00) for virtually no reason makes little sense to me. Add on ADM's and your 450k car is 600k before it even hits the showroom.

The dealer that handles the transaction gets 15k IIRC which is baked into the purchase price. No ADM.

The GTD is mind-boggling fast! Here's a pretty good video I found. Not sure if it has been posted here before. Sound pleasure starts at 2:43 and 7:30.
