Long run it'll force manufactures to bring jobs back stateside which will create jobs.
Hopefully it will. We shall see.
Just in time for the robots and artificial intelligence to take over. lol (I saw a signature line for an AI company on a couple of the forms at work from an outside vendor.)

But seriously, I hope it all works out for the American People.

Born and raised Brockton. Living in Naples.
I trust in President Trump and believe in him. That said my wife might have to change her desires for European SUV’s because I will never pay any extra 25% tariffs so we may go American made in the future.
We just got a new vehicle in 24 and she keeps her cars a while so it’ll be a wait and see.
Maybe a Cadillac or Lincoln??
Or stick to European? With no additional tariffs of course.

All for tariffs to bring back jobs, but think it could of been a gradual one with 5/10/20 over the next 3 years for example to give companies time to restart here and not shock an economy that was on hollow ground. But, that's another thread.

Been arguing with the Boss on another company vehicle. If the Bronco sport gets hit with a 25% "tax" fts.

I've been hearing/reading it takes about three years to build an automotive factory.

All BMW SUVs and Mercedes GLE and GLS are made in Alabama. So they shouldn't be hit with the tariff.

BMW SUV's are Spartanburg SC (vs Alabama). Picked up one of our X5's there, drove it back to MA, was a cool experience.
