I'm still enthusiastic about the program. "Wait and see what happens" seems to be the process.

Been way too quiet. Is it a looming tariff that has everyone saying they won't get one if price takes a major hit?

I'm waiting. I spoke to 3 guys this weekend on my Ford trip that are waiting as well.

I'm pro-tariffs, so you wont hear me complain, I'll just go another route.

I just care that Ford finally did a configurator right. Whatever the purchaser looks like I don't really care other than to say props - if you have the means to purchase one, good for you.

Genuinely curious with the guy posting the video of the configurator, is that allowed in your NDA or do you think he had to have Ford approve the video before posting?

Great question. I think it could violate the NDA.

I've wondered since inception if Ford would be installing an engine assembled by Dearborn Engine Plant (that took over Predator engine building when Romeo was unalived) or if they would come from somewhere else. Something tells me it'll get more hands on attention elsewhere (sorry UAW).

I didn't realize until recently that the Ford GT V6 engine was done at Performance Assembly Solutions in Livonia. For the money the GTD is going for, I have a hunch the 5.2L GTD engine will be assembled there as well. If anyone has any details on this I'd love to hear about it.

Yeah, 500k is A LOT for that vehicle, even though it is beastly.

So, how does this help the economy? Doing this? I would think folks are having a hard time paying bills, so how does this help the American People get ahead?

Long run it'll force manufactures to bring jobs back stateside which will create jobs.
