The Snake Pit show in Ohio 2021

I've gone back and forth with Clint (blueovalkid) for over a decade here at SVTP. I had never met him but he's a fellow tradesman with what looked to be one of the cleanest S197 GT500's I've seen posted on the web or here at SVTP. I thought my '09 GT500 was nice but his looked to be better - I can't lie. Anyway, Clint has been asking me to come out to his shop south of Cleveland for a few years now but I always had an excuse to not make the 4 hour drive from here in NY. He's been hosting an all Ford get together for 5 or so years now that continues to grow and had just shy of 150 cars show up on this day (if I can count very well). Anyway, Terrance from Signature wheel convinced me that my tardiness would no longer be acceptable and that both he and Clint expected me this time around. So a couple of days ago I filled up my '20 GT500 with some 93 and headed west.

Thanks to Waze and some stealth techniques I've learned over the years I absolutely hauled the mail through New York, Pennsylvania, and even more so in the lovely state of Ohio. God I love Ohio. Clean highways/infrastructure, 70mph speed limits, mod friendly emissions laws, and friends of the Constitution everywhere...I may just have to move back there some day. I pulled into Clint's lot and instantly made friends with everybody I spoke to. The swag was so damn good I had to grab something right away to mark the day...

After shaking hands I grabbed my R5 and fresh from Canon RF 70-200mm f2.8 and captured the show as people arrived. Shots are high res, so click away and I hope you guys enjoyed them as much as I did taking them.

I think I saw most every Mustang variant short of a Boss 429. Some of what caught my eye...

Just wow. I felt good about America being there on this day and I mean that from the bottom of my half bionic heart. Attending this shindig gave me hope and had me smiling so much my face hurt. Oh, and the food...Clint took care of everybody!

I did finally get to see Clint's car and it honestly exceed my expectations by a factor of ten (cubed). Every square inch was perfect. I stood staring at it and he saw me and asked if I wanted him to fire it up. All I can say is...ever hear a top fuel dragster run inside a garage? I stood behind it for maximum effect and I think it changed the way my heart beats, in a good way. Just wow.

I've been to SEMA, PRI, Mustang Week, etc, and they were all good. But I will never forget this day. Thanks again Clint to you and your crew - you guys did a fantastic job. And to you too T, because if you hadn't pushed me I would have missed something truly great.

Wish I had known about this one. Met a couple of guys from there at my friend's dynotune shop here in the Columbus Ohio area not too long ago. Both of their cars were beautiful too. Wish I was better with names though. Can't remember at this point. Looked to be an awesome turnout.
