So I refilled it with the proper coolant/water mixture and swapped thermostats out (which it turns out there was a GT thermostat in it as well, so there was part of the issue). I also looked into my brake issue and the left rear brake caliper is locked down solid, so I'll be ordering one of those on Monday morning.
