Whats funny to me is I heard this one before the John Denver version, so in my head I always sing it in a Jamaican accent when I hear the song mentioned. Lol.

My neighbor is Jamaican and still has family there, she's worried about them.
Never been to Jamaica. Didn’t start traveling until I met my wife. For me pre marriage my vacations were to Florida. Or driving trips through out New England.
I wanted to go there but she always refused. Didn’t feel it was a safe island. I’ve been to the Caribbean over 20 times and there’s lots of islands I’ve never been to and am never going to see. Like Jamaica.
I wish them nothing but the best with this hurricane. It’s going to hurt a lot of people for sure.

Been raining since last night and not supposed to stop until late tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning 50*, and morning 50's till Monday.
39 degrees this morning (@ 4:30 AM) and loving it! I hate the summers here, when it's 100+ miserable humid dumpy weather. Jacket weather in the fall is my favorite time.
And that's the last day of school in June.

84 here in Grand Cayman, 40 back home. I'd rather have it colder, quite honestly. I can always put on a coat or sweater. When it's hot, you can only get so naked before the neighbors call the cops.
