Today was the most pleasant day on the beach of the summer. We haven’t had to run our AC up here for almost three weeks. It has been in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and dry. Then today it hit 86 on the cape and more humid so we turned it on. Went to the beach and the water is still warm. 78 and with the sea breeze it was perfection. Water is crystal clear with no seaweed and no sharks in my area. Vineyard Sound. There was a Tiger shark caught a couple of weeks ago in the next town but it was just a juvenile.
I love Cape Cod but loath Massachusetts. ****in state is full of ****in looney ****in tunes.

Nice that you had a great time at the beach in Cape Cod. My wife and I were in Ogunquit, ME for 3 days late last week. Not that far from where you were. Great sunny weather with temps in the 78-85 range and clear skys. Dry and comfortable. Ogunquit Beach was great, but crowded. Wife and I got to go wading (she can’t swim, so….) and while the water felt cold (68 degrees), it felt comfortably warm minutes later. Great time. Great weather.

I’d guess that’s at least 100 miles north of me. I love to visit Maine but it’s been years since we’ve been. Awesome sea food up there.
The best thing about Cape Cod is that every town has their own beaches. You have to be a resident and own property in the town and that gives you the right to a beach sticker. It’s beautiful so this way the beaches never get too crowded. There are some public beaches that you can pay to park at for non residents but we always go to our town beach while we are up here. It’s never over crowded and it’s a very nice beach.
