Normal afternoon storms here. They get damn nasty.

As they say, that’s earthquake weather here. From hot to cold to hot. These storms don’t happen but maybe once or twice a year here. I’m stuck at working watching an electrician repair a breaker that blew out a part internally on the breaker.

From the storm earlier this week. It caused a lot of damage pretty close to us.

I'd assume your ok?
OMG. That's enormous.

Yeah I'm good, this happened about 50 miles away. All we had here was some wind gusts and dark clouds. Here's some video of the aftermath.

Looks like it stayed in the countryside and tossed around some grain bins, power lines etc.

Another one was spotted further west.

We get our fair share of tornadoes but our population density is so low they rarely do significant damage.

Again, severe thunderstorm warnings on the radio in the truck on the way home, phone and just kicking the local news on. Just another day in SWFL.

Can't buy rain within a mile of the coast over here. The SE breezes are pushing the boundary inland and storms west.

Yeah, east to west are the nasty ones. Gulf breeze hits that, and bam. I’m east of 75 where it gets stupid sometimes.
