That will roll into my neck of the woods around 1AM tomorrow. Plenty of wind damage along the way.

This was the shelf cloud over Wichita yesterday morning from ICT, Cessna/Textron side east of 1R/19L. (those Citations and many other aircraft are made here)
Been a weird year, not a single tornado watch...

@L8APEX , that's an amazing and eerie weather photo there.

They are eerie, but beautiful. The storms that created them were not even severe (Bow echo with 40-50mph wind that tracked se of town) but usually they are related to storms with high winds.

Made worldwide news, it's the 2nd well defined one we've had this year as there was one in early May too.

That video is north on Rock road facing West over McConnell AFB and Spirit (frm. Boeing Wichita) on the SE part of town.

Was on the lake yesterday when I got a severe storm warning on my phone...looked NW and she was rapidly approaching I wanted to get a pic but I decided to see just how fast boat would run and white caps that were blowing up

My buddy goes "its about time we see how fast this bitch will run and how strong the hull is" lol

Severe weather warning issued for tomorrow night. Possible heavy rain, heavy winds, hail and there's even the possibility of a tornado.

It is nice to see this time of year. Working at an airport has some advantages. It was a simple iPhone 8 with a vivid mode on to capture that sunset. Some say the gladiator almost ruins the shot, lol
