    Almost 70 degrees today up here in CT. Neighbors outside their homes partying like it's late Spring. Guys washing their cars. I believe we broke temperature records yesterday and today.

    Everybody around the northern Gulf be safe today. Strong low level jet, a surface/mid level low expected to deepen and that upper level trough swinging through going from positive to negative tilt will probably bring some strong surface winds. Areas east of the Mississippi are primed with low level moisture already so there's a chance of supercells forming ahead of the squall line and depending on how the shear lines up with the front, there's a chance of tornadoes being embedded in the line itself. Keep an eye on local weather

    970.2mb at KBDL (Connecticut). Lowest pressure in any month at that station for 49 years (other than Sandy). Pretty intense winds with the pressure gradients they're seeing
