After I posted that some dude told me he heard 12-15! WTF?

If big T storms pop in IA, that will cut down our snow. Still, 5-6 inches regardless is a fair bet. People better move the snow piles while they can, dropping an inch of rain on them will make them like concrete.

we got maybe 14” this week, but the ****inburr was miserable with a -44 windchill. This app really needs a middle finger button along with the thumbs up, somebody posting stuff from it look like the Bahamas.

Little over 7 inch of heavy wet snow. Pain the butt to get rid of.

Haven't had snow this deep for quite a few years.

Big chunk slid off the shed yesterday. Rare to keep snow on the shed roof, dark red and faces South.

It rained here for the first 3 hours of the storm so I ended up with about 4" of snow.

Power of the March sun, elderly in-law's driveway melting down to surface before I even finished loading the blower back up!

Storm that rolled through this afternoon, in the last pic there are a couple 200' tall bridges less than 1/2 a mile in front of me.

I didn't have any snow stick to the ground but a couple hours North of me had 8.5 inches on the ground.

You weather heads should check out Pecos Hank’s photos and videos. Some of the best weather photography I’ve seen.

Pecos Hank also makes great videos, some with simple explanations of the mechanics of the weather event. Here’s one on hail.

Better one, on Quasi Linear Convective Systems (a/k/a squall lines):
