Was a long season for us. The boat was back firing through the intake as soon as the boost would come in. (In the video) this lead to a lot more. Tried plugs, wires, coil, iat, coolant sensor, knock sensor, had the motors tuned on the lake. Nothing worked. Look like gas? It’s not... Backfire wasted the intercooler. Water in the cylinders. Backfire, snapped the arp stud on the blower pulley. All new gaskets, bypass valve, checked the rotors, fuel pressure regulator. Put a whole new engine harness on it. Which I had to cut up and add in a relay to work for or motor. (Thank god Eddie walked me through it) Engine harness did the trick! After the whole summer of working on it, on “vacation” it’s running great. Ran up to 108mph with 4 of us and 3/4 tank of gas then the throttle cable fell out off the clamp. Going buy a billet clamp like the other side has. At least we can put it away knowing it runs good. Might pulley up for a few more lbs next year. Thought y’all might enjoy the struggle as we all go through it.
