Stopped into the PBC shop, always cool to see these boats getting worked on and 1000+hp motors sitting around.

Our motors should be done within a few weeks. This is the one that hung the crank out. Interesting to see how the blower and injector setups change vs a car. Notice the fuel rail and 8 injectors under the throttle bodies. Belhousing coolers. I’m pretty fascinated by these boats.

Bunch of BBCs and Whipples.

One made 949hp, the other 955hp with wet headers. Same power as the last motors. These have a hydraulic cam setup and lower compression. 7lbs boost. Going to be a good boating seasons

I don't know, when I used to live on the river bluff, I loved hearing the go-fast boats go by...especially the multi-engine ones. Was like music.

Generally you don’t hear the blowers unless you’re into the throttle quite a bit. Cruising no boost the boat will go 90mph at 3800rpm.

not to mention your doing 90 mph! not sure if your familiar with wind noise but it would pretty much drown out the engine noise at that point.

No. I mean unbearable as in the punishment the water feels like at that speed. Don’t know maybe the water feels flatter.

Not bad, just have to have good conditions. On page 12 there’s a video of it running 101, felt like glass.

Name was redone yesterday. Crane appointment on Thursday. Hope to be on it Saturday morning. This spring has sucked in the northeast. I’m ready to be on the water.

Had an awesome weekend at the Cigarette Rendezvous! Our boat is having tuning issues unfortunately so yet again we couldn’t get out on it. Long story short I was approach by a forum member over at OSO that I’ve never met and he offered to take me and my family out with him on his 42 Tiger. Twin 652 1050’s hp. Made some new friends and had an incredible time. The tiger is the blue and red one.
