the 34 would be a better suited size. We used to run a 35 fountain with twin 850's in the northern poker runs. Now my dad has a 257 mirage with twin 6.2s.. good enough for us these days. If boats were even close to a priority for us anymore id probably pick up a 29 formula

I had a 25 Formula...top notch. I currently have a 26 Powerquest just because I couldn't pass up the deal. I'm shopping for a 35 Fountain.

I have no idea. It was like that when we got it.

That Baja is not all that fast. Runs maybe 50-55, but it's really all about being seen and heard. If you like attention it is the boat for you.

Really. That is a bit surprising.
I feel like I’ve had the old slowray near that with low amount of fuel on.

I however do not get many second looks. Lol

All of us and some gear with 1/4 tank and choppy ass water trimmed out did manage 47mph. Not terrible

Might be a couple mph left but that’s about it. By myself, 1/4 tank, trimmed up, fairly smooth water.
Maybe prop change would get some more able to redline motor. Not immediately but steadily climbs to it.

So there is planes too I guess

You should be able to get more speed out of a nice little chop than calm water. The less surface of the boat in contact with the water the better for speed.

Our small lake or tubing boat. 1985 Baja 220 sport with a 28inch Gil standoff bracket. Terrible in the rough water but does 73mph in the Smooth, with only a 225hp Merc.

Part of our crew 2 27ft ultra walk thru cats. Ones got a 525efi the other a Teague 825efi, awesome looking rigs.

Last trip I got a pic out of our window of our old boat going by, always sad watching that happen, but it’s got a good home.
