The race to 1000rwhp

this is being discussed on another site, so i figured i'd throw it over here...im sure most frequent both, but might have some newcomers respond. I for one am shooting for it, but wont be hit it til we pull the motor in a few weeks. Should be able to accomplish it, but how high will we go?

you mean terminator at 1000hp? i figured there was allready some out there. hell the supra's are well over that mark. is the inline 6 that much stronger than the 4.6? if i have to build a short block just to get over 800hp then i guess i will look at trading this 03 in for something else.

I don't even think that's possible!! :lol:

Anyway, I will hit 1000HP+ at some point this spring/summer, but could careless if I am the first one to do it. Need to make sure everything is perfect and broken in before turning the boost way up.

I didnt think there were...I know of Bross hitting 902rwhp, but didnt think someone had crossed the 4-digit mark.

Shane, the 1000rwhp is just a bench mark...my turbo's are rated at 1500hp, so I think we'll hit more than a 1000, it's just how much more is yet to be determined :thumbsup:

In a magazine I read a while back there was a guy with 1,012 rwhp but he was in a 97 cobra, well I think that was the year of the cobra. I know it wasn't a 03/04. It was either a 98, 97, or 96.
