Car: 2008 Shelby GT500//The Monster
Built by: Pro Dyno
Original Owner: Chuck Hicks
New Owner: Chris Stanfield

Many of you who are familiar with our shop, know "The Monster" very well. If not, you have been missing out on one of the coolest, most in-depth builds Pro Dyno has done to date. What started out as your ordinary stock GT500, ended up becoming a track monster with over 980RWHP through an automatic transmission!

Originally owned by Chuck Hicks, and now owned by Chris Stanfield, Chris is stepping the game up even more, having recently dropped it off for a full Cobra Jet ignition set up! I'm sure the upgrading on this car will never be finished!

Stay tuned to this thread as we update pictures of the last few years of all that we did to this Shelby, and keep your eyes (and ears) open for it at a local track!

And to monitor all the power, lets install a set of gauges in a Shelby center bezel.

What are your thoughts so far on this build? Stay tuned for next week, when we'll move on to building the rear and swapping the transmission!

Time to update this build! This was the first rear end being built, with stronger axles and 4.10!

With the amount of power the Monster was putting down, our next step was to opt for an Automatic Trans.
