We have been building these since the fall. The smaller garage is mine, for cars and camper. Did a custom high mount garage lift for rear door that leads to the rear patio. The larger garage is for my kids. Basketball hoop getting installed with a baseball pitching and batting cage too. Bonus...check out the new generator too.

That's a thick pad of concrete! I've been debating getting a standalone garage. Those expenses though...

That patio wasn't even planned, but after seeing the steep drop off on the garage rear side we had to have it built up big time. Now the concrete for the smaller garage(26×30) cost more than the huge 56x40 garage. That patio view though, the wife and I have enjoyed it every night.

Thanks all. A lift might work if 120v. To get electricity to my garage it will take a good distance of cable. Here's a pic of the V10 generator...no Viper V10 but I think it's pretty cool.

Excuse my ignorance...why would you build the building then pour concrete?
Our contractor recommended that to save money on the permits and inspections. The buildings were inspected right before the concrete went in. I didn't care either way, just get these garages done by winter!

Congrats! I'll need one of these because I already have plans to fill the garage of the house which still has 3 months before it's complete. The old lady wants a pool first, so another garage will surely wait.
