The First Edition.
That's why most of them end up being mall crawlers. I picked up a '94 XJ for free that's a pos that I hope to get trail ready because who cares if it gets beat up.
On the other hand maybe a Bronco could tow your side by side.
Leaf springs vs coils?
I am very impressed with this, I think it looks great. Good job Ford now they will force Jeep to step up the game as well all in all its a win win for everyone.
I reserved a Badlands for the heck of it. Thinking about doing something crazy and swapping my daily driver C63s for it. Would certainly work a lot better in the snow. Would have loved to see a 7.3 option, but a 2.3/7 speed will work fine for me
I agree that jeep will have to do something but I also think now will be the start of a quickly rising msrp for the wrangler. Think half ton trucks...
@SID297 is the 4x4 system on the bronco the same as f150, meaning the vacuum hubs?
I like it. Specially the 2 door. I am fine with the 2.7 and 10 speed auto.
To me this looks like a great value compared to jeeps in the same price range.
Yea alot of the mall crawler crowd will be out for these, but really how many jeeps are out there trailing with brand new rubicons?
Ok well I will remain hopeful for now as this would be the first vehicle that I like enough to buy new.
The mall crawler thing doesn't bug me, jeeps are 99% mall crawl'd. And 99% of performance cars never see a track. Without those mall crawlers and meguiars wax buffers we wouldn't have these cool toys
Same here... who cares who buys vehicles? That’s irrelevant. I care about what the vehicle can do. Whether a granny owns it or a pro driver, fact still is, it’s a badass vehicle.
4 coilovers. I’m still assuming the 4dr 2.7 10sp will have more towing than the 2dr 2.3 7 stick.
I've never understood it as well, on both ends.
Spend big time dollars buying and outfitting a Jeep that never sees grass, but also the criticism they receive. Personally, I wouldn't drop that kind of coin on a beefy Rubicon, but, hey, it looks cool.
If you do offroad your Jeep, great, but don't complain about how somebody else spends their money. More than likely, most offroad Jeepers are benefitting off the used market, so they should be thanking the mall crawlers for whatever depreciation hit they take.
My household 100% does not NEED a Bronco (We barely drive being both WFH based), but I sure won't turn my cheek to the opportunity to get into some light offroading with one if the wife opens the door. Gotta sell it as a family angle... and it might include parting with the 500. I don't think I could make that trade...

Looks good. The interior is really nice.
They'll sell pretty well.
Oh it doesnt bother me. But it appears to bother a lot of other people. If I got one i would certainly start attempting to do some light trails every now and then or at least find a beach to go drive on. Would be fun to own! Mustang and a Bronco!
One thing is for sure. Ford doesn't mess around on the interior of their vehicles lately. The new Bronco looks amazing inside and out. Some very well planned details and characteristics that I like so far. I really want one. The 2 Door Bronco is calling my name with the 7 speed manual but the 4 Door is more practical with the wife and kid. Hmmmmm...
Looks great. I wish I hadn't have just bought that Ranger haha.
i bet its enough to haul a car to the track but thats probably the maximum.
It’s still about a year away.
