Ok... all recent activity from Ford aside, this Bronco is bad ass! Even with the stripped down Base and Sasquatch Package, you get a metric SHIT TON of value and performance. Hell all Broncos come with 8" LCD cluster AND an 8" Sync 4 screen? Dude... they just roundhoused Jeep with this... and there isnt even a Raptor Bronco yet!
I'm gonna grab some ford stock at 4am market open This baby is getting suprise glowing anticipation... stock probably gonna break trend... just what ford needed.
The more I look at it, the more impressed I am. Dang it I wish the 7sp came with the 2.7!! Link to the options guide... https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/conten...crossovers/bronco/pdf/21_Bronco_lineup_HR.pdf
Which is probably why the 2.7 isn't available with manual...cause knuckle heads like us would tune it, rip 35" mud tire pavement burnouts, and then ask Ford to warranty the clutch!!
Any idea when the build a price tool will be available for the big bronco. It's been live for the sport since last night but I need to know how much one for the wife with the options I want is going to hurt.
Based on what Sid posted from Ford, I have to agree with you. I think a majority of focus is going to shift from the Jeep to the Bronco. The package and the available options is mind-blowing. That said, I don't like the exterior look of the 4-door (wouldn't buy one), but that 2-door is KILLER! I really like it, a lot! Ford has surprised me on this Bronco. It's much more than I expected. Well done, Ford!
Trying to talk the wife to take a look at one when they hit the dealerships. Possibly move to the Bronco from the Gladiator. It certainly appears to be very well thought out (Bronco)
Looks like many gear options as well, 3.73, 4.27, 4.46 & 4.70. Will be interesting to see if they are available as stand alone options, or they will be tied to certain tire sizes.
Wrangler JL -33" tires Approach (44.0) Breakover (27.8) Departure (37.0) Ground Clearance 10.8" I'd like to see interior dimensions. I won't be swapping my Jeep for one of these, But I could see my wife rocking one. We can fit 3 kids in the back seat of the JL, with one of them sitting in a car seat. My eyes are on the upcoming Wagoneer with 3 rows, but you never know.
Just bought a Wrangler Rubicon a month ago and love it. This Bronco is sick, the 2 door and the 4 door. I'll probably be ready for something new in 2-3 years, hype and dealer markups should be done by then, I'll definitely check them out. Or I can trade in the Raptor and have both? Lol.
Looks sweet, looks huge though in the pics. The 2.7 was a surprise, that being said, the 2.3 is the way to go. Lighter, plenty or tq and easier to work on long term. I read you can get boat like vinyl and vinyl floor with drain holes. That also sounds like a great idea. The paint codes names and package names are all dumb as hell. ****ing millennials. Finally, a base price of 30k 2 door, some minor options, at least 40-50k, top model will be 60k. Who wants to really offroad something that expensive and tear up the bumpers and paint? I would rather just buy a side by side.
Welp, I hope I can convince the wife this is what will replace her Edge when it pukes. Sent from my SM-G975U using the svtperformance.com mobile app
