Good morning everyone. I am new to the forum. 4 weeks ago purchased a 2016 Mustang GT 5.0 auto (deep impact blue). Have added a AIRAID MIT, K&N air filter, Hearthrob h pipe resonator delete, SLP LM II ATAK. Am waiting on delivery of my Bama tuned X4/SF4 Power Flash Tuner.

Next mod is LT headers. I am considering the Texas Speed LT's. They are $632.00 shipped with catless connectors or the Pypes LT's. Any suggestions? I am a poor Navy sailor so not going to spend $1,400 or more on LT's.

Thanks,
Kevin

I retire in 49 days so no permission needed. Also moving out of Indiana back to Jacksonville, FL! WooHoo! I got the forum price from team beefcake racing on pypes. Its a tough decision do I choose TSP or Pypes? PS. Got my metal license plate in mail today finally. 878 miles on the mustang right now!

just put my order in for them. They have good reviews from Vette/Fbody owners. I had a 2010 Camaro & 2000 Trans Am so am partial to SLP parts and other vendors who sell chevy & ford parts(dodge also yuck!)

Ive read a lot of good stuff from texas speed. My friend who's building an ls miata had them cnc port his cylinder heads and the work is stellar. I'm sure you'll be happy with the headers

I couldn't find anything ford without searching their site. That's how I found it for 2015s.Search the site for mustang headers and look at the second page last entry.

Got the headers, connectors, and 02 extensions. Anything else I need to install such as gaskets or header studs? Kit came with gaskets (not very good ones, crushed in shipping) and bolts.

I don't know about the material used for Texas Speed headers. Thick walled pipe makes for a better header. Thin wall piping will give you that slight tinging sound up front. It is kind of annoying.. It also makes the exhaust note have a little more rasp.. Again, I know nothing about Texas Speed Headers. I am sure they use thick wall tubing.
