That video is in another GT-500 thread. That guy has himself one sweet GT-500. The exhaust sounds awesome. He's for sure excited about it. Hope he has a stellar owner experience.

Geez....It's like the other guy who ran 10.XX his second time at the drag strip. I need to get one. I want to get into the 10 sec club too.

Just don’t sell your Mystichrome Terminator to get a 2020! You have an appreciating asset.

The 2020 is just a different animal. You will be blown away at the difference from your 2014. A friend with an 850hp 2013 Super Snake just drove a 2020. He was stunned. In his words: “It’s not even a fair fight!” :)

For those that don’t want to watch the video to find out... 705hp to the tires. This car is BEAST!

10/1 af ratio. It had 720whp in it if they threw some fans upfront to supply oxygen.

My opinion, but it’s obvious to the safety nets stepped in. Entire graph dipped when af dropped to 10.0

Fans have been used in the past to keep temps down to prevent timing from being pulled. This new car has a ton of cooling. I witnessed these cars running full-tilt-boogie at the track all day as drivers hot-swapped. Ford has eliminated heat soak with this car from what I saw.

As for the rich air/fuel ratio... I’m sure that’s Ford’s cat protection strategies. My 2.9 Whipple GT500 with the Ford tune does the same thing. When hitting WOT, my fuel pumps go to 100% about 2/3rds the way up the RPM band and spray a bunch of fuel to cool the cats. Yes, it can be leaned-out, but Ford is interested in protecting the cats.

By using " STD " calibrations, & not taking into account that 4th gear isn't 1 to 1.
Some magazine got some " I can't believe it " dyno #'s when the did the 2020 Corvette..

This is true. I've been seeing the A/f in the 10's in both the Shelby and Terminator before tuning.

Ford has stated they will build about 5,000 of them. Each car gets a chassis #. Mine is #253. The chassis #s are the sequence they roll off the assembly line and are independent of the VIN.

I did get some good news finally yesterday... my car has shipped!
