Nick is a dick. So a few things... 1. Send me or post the VIN of the vehicle they had listed at $54k and you offered $50k on. 2. Does their $54k price include anything other than the vehicle? 3. What deems your $50k offer as reasonable? Not saying it isn't...just curious on what data you used to determine that. 4. Ford doesn't tell anyone to lower prices. Ford did do price cuts, so they re-invoiced all the current vehicles in inventory and/or added VIN specific rebates to effectively lower the price. 5. If the dealer is going to lie to you, why do business with them at any dollar amount? 6. You're not wrong for deciding not to pay their $54k, but they're not wrong for not accepting your $50k offer. It's a free market. Call the next store and maybe they would be more willing to deal. 7. The jury is out on how educated of a buyer you are. I see a lot of buyers who think they have it all figured out, but don't, and are unwilling to hear anything they don't want to. Not sure if that's you or not, but we'll get there once I get some more information. 8. Dealers don't/shouldn't care if you know how long their inventory has been on the lot. I could give a rat's ass. 9. They didn't come back to you with a $1500 off offer, because you instructed the salesman not to come back with an offer. lol Not sure why this is a sticking point for you, as they followed your instruction. 10. There might be someone out there that will take your $50k offer, and once you send me the VIN on the vehicle, I'll be able to break down the cost/profit of it and show you exactly where all the numbers fall. Again, feel free to either post the VIN, link to the car, or PM me. Nick
