Can someone spare some info on these for me? I've been doing a lot of research on the history and durability of these blocks. My unique situation is I can pick up a teksid block with cobra crank, rods, and pistons for literally no money out of pocket. He says one cylinder needs a resleeve. I was thinking about using it in an 03 cobra build.

The re-sleeve will cost more than the block is worth. The crank is worth some money depending on condition.

Make sure that you get an unbored block. There is not a lot of extra cylinder wall material.

If possible only go 2 thousands overbore and give you bore size to your machinist.

But order your pistons first. Here is a thread that talks about just abut everything there is to know about building a Teksid based engine. What tolerances, parts, modifications, overbore, and anything else anyone could think to ask about.
