Im trying to wire something up to my xbox and I need to know how to wire a voltage regulator in a 5 volt line and bring it down to 3.3 volts. There isnt a 3.3V constant for me to wire this up with. I have 3 legs on the voltage regulator how do I wire it in there. Also will I need a heatsinc for it dropping the voltage that little bit? Thanks for any help in advance.

its the wireless doorbell mod you wire a wireless doorbell into the xbox to turn it on and off. here is the link http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/rf-power.php problem I have is the 1.0-1.5 versions of xbox have a 3.3v constant but the 1.6 which I have has a 5v or a 12v so I have to drop the voltage to 3v.
